Description
Samatoki Aohitsugi, leader of Yokohama's MAD TRIGGER CREW under his MC name Mr.Hc (Mr. Hardcore), was formerly part of the legendary unit The Dirty Dawg. Beyond rap, he serves as first lieutenant in the Katengumi yakuza, resolving Yokohama disputes. His striking appearance features chin-length white hair, red eyes, and multiple ear piercings with black studs and industrial jewelry. He typically wears a white short-sleeved button-up shirt adorned with skull prints, Prussian blue jeans, and black combat boots. A handmade beaded bracelet crafted by his sister Nemu from their mother's broken necklace remains a constant fixture on his right wrist. During The Dirty Dawg era, his look differed: slicked-back hair, a black double biker jacket bearing his motto "life is not fair," and a dagger-shaped pendant. His Hypnosis Mic manifests as a silver skull-shaped microphone and stand, while his speakers materialize as a blue-lit skeleton emerging from a large coffin, echoing the coffin motif in his surname.
Samatoki exhibits a volatile, hot-blooded temperament with a notoriously short fuse, often reacting aggressively to minor slights. This contrasts sharply with a fiercely protective nature focused on Yokohama residents and those under his care, earning him a "big brother" reputation in his community and organization. Despite an abrasive, demanding exterior, he shows deep loyalty and care for his inner circle. This protectiveness stems from profound childhood trauma: enduring domestic abuse from his father, culminating in his mother killing the abuser before taking her own life. This history fuels his absolute refusal to ever harm a woman. His sister Nemu is his sole remaining family. Though they live apart, his actions, including his initial yakuza involvement, are fundamentally driven by providing for and protecting her. He initially opposed Nemu joining the Party of Words but later respected her autonomy and beliefs, despite disapproving of the organization's methods and remaining prepared to confront her if their paths clash.
His rap ability, "Counter Blow," absorbs an opponent's lyrical attacks over time before redirecting them amplified. His solo track is "G anthem of Y-CITY." Through experiences like division rap battles, a shift emerged in his conflict resolution approach. While retaining his core protective drive and readiness for confrontation, he began seeking ways to instigate change and safeguard Yokohama beyond pure physical violence. His character arc reflects the ongoing tension between his inherently aggressive nature and a developing, albeit reluctant, acceptance of non-violent solutions through words and rap. His prized possessions include Nemu's beaded bracelet, symbolizing their bond and his family's fractured past.
