Description
Samatoki Aohitsugi, stage name Mr.Hc (Hardcore), is a pivotal character defined by a past marred by familial trauma and an unwavering drive to shield those he cherishes. A childhood shadowed by domestic violence culminated in his mother killing his abusive father before her suicide, orphaning him and younger sister Nemu. This tragedy forged an ironclad refusal to harm women and an obsessive devotion to Nemu, his sole surviving kin. To provide for her, he entered the yakuza’s ranks, rising to become the Katengumi’s second-in-command, a Yokohama-based syndicate.

His personality blends a fiery temper with a fiercely protective, brotherly core. Though prone to explosive outbursts, he commands respect as a leader through unyielding loyalty to his team and Yokohama’s citizens. Beneath his abrasive exterior lies a pragmatic moral code: he values honesty, owns his errors post-rage, and prioritizes family and community above self-interest.

Originally a member of the legendary rap collective The Dirty Dawg, his bond with teammate Ichiro Yamada fractured when Nemu was ensnared by the Party of Words, a political group he despises. Their fallout disbanded the group and cemented his enduring grudge against Ichiro. Later, he forged MAD TRIGGER CREW with corrupt cop Jyuto Iruma and ex-soldier Rio Mason Busujima, uniting disparate backgrounds to champion Yokohama in rap battles. Their alliance stemmed from necessity—Samatoki rescued Jyuto during a drug operation and partnered with Rio after neutralizing mutual threats.

His evolution saw violence gradually tempered by rap as a means for change, spurred by Nemu’s burgeoning independence and grudging recognition of nonviolent tactics. While entrenched in yakuza affairs, he straddles criminality and vigilante justice, shielding Yokohama’s vulnerable. His rap ability, "Counter Blow," mirrors his tactical prowess, absorbing and amplifying adversaries’ strikes.

Visually striking, he sports chin-length white hair, crimson eyes, and numerous piercings. His wardrobe—a skull-printed white shirt, Prussian blue jeans, and combat boots—is accented by sentimental tokens: a triangle-charm necklace and Nemu’s beaded bracelet. His Hypnosis Mic, a silver skull, conjures skeletal speakers from a coffin, emblematic of death and defiance.

Pivotal shifts include reconciling with Nemu’s autonomy despite initial resistance, respecting her choices while vowing to challenge her if their ideals collide. His growth reflects an increasingly embraced role for rap in societal upheaval, though his methods remain edged with the ruthlessness honed by a traumatic past and yakuza allegiance.
