Gary managed and maintained the monobike racers of the Killer Commandos in Venus's Io City. He acted as a fatherly protector to the younger racers—Hiro, Miranda, Will, and Jack—trying to insulate them from the growing Aphrodia-Ishtar conflict. His past military service granted him combat skills and weapons expertise, which he leveraged for a secret side operation: smuggling arms. He stockpiled these weapons in the team garage without the racers' initial knowledge.

Miranda eventually uncovered Gary's hidden arsenal. When the team planned an attack on Ishtar's occupying tanks at their stadium, Gary vehemently opposed the mission, labeling it suicidal against Ishtar's superior forces, especially their heavily armored Adomiral A-1 tanks. Despite his protests and fears for their safety, he joined the assault. During the stadium battle, Gary drove a civilian-type six-wheeled fighting bike, normally used for trailer hauling, directly into an enemy tank. He rammed the vehicle—loaded with a tanker full of oil—in a final destructive effort to disable the tank. This act resulted in his death during the battle, alongside team member Jack.
