Description
Rakitama, alias Luckytama, emerges as a male Cocotama born from Kokoro Yotsuba's treasured childhood colored pencils, a special gift from her grandmother. His full divine title, "Lucky Lucky no Tamakoronosuke-no-Mikoto," declares him the Colored Pencil God. Visually, he resembles a golden hamster cloaked in orange fur with creamy white paws, tail, face, and eyebrows. Distinct features include small floppy ears, two prominent head curls, and blue eyes. His tail mimics a pencil tipped in blue, and his eggshell pants bear a green four-leaf clover symbol.

His personality bursts with curiosity and impulsiveness, sometimes tipping into recklessness. Though blessed with fortune-bestowing abilities, he habitually pushes his luck. Benevolence drives his actions, yet clumsiness and mischief often mark his attempts to help others. He enthusiastically voices his catchphrase, "Lucky!", and possesses a deep passion for drawing.

Serving as both the central protagonist and franchise mascot, his origin involves hatching from an egg appearing while Kokoro was at school. His continued existence requires a binding secrecy contract upon her return: she must conceal all knowledge of Cocotamas while he aids her personal goal of overcoming clumsiness. His core journey centers on training with fellow Cocotamas to master magic and achieve full godhood, operating covertly in human homes to locate lost items despite frequent mishaps.

His character evolves from initial ineptitude and rashness towards forging deeper bonds and collaborative skills. Key milestones include coordinating magic with peers like Melory, Oshaki, and Geracho to overcome obstacles or retrieve lost paths. He also engages in large-scale efforts, such as mobilizing minor Cocotamas to aid Vivit's recovery through combined magic. Interpersonal dynamics feature a rivalry-turned-friendship with Geracho and close companionship with Melory and other Cocotama House residents.

Beyond the main narrative, documented public appearances encompass promotional activities: visiting Shinjuku Station for an anime festival, attending a Christmas illumination event at Izumi Gardens, and serving as a TVPlus spokesperson. A theatrical film features his presence, though his specific narrative role remains undefined. His transition to the sequel series, "Kira Kira Happy Hirake! Cocotama," involves minimal inclusion, limited to background references like posters.
