Nanael, a guardian angel dispatched from Heaven to supervise the Queen's Blade tournament under the pretense of bringing "true order to the world," is actually an angel dropout known for misconduct. Her assignment was a trial ordered by the head archangel, with the strict condition not to spill the "Holy Milk" contained in a vial on her hip.
She possesses light blue ear-length hair, green eyes, and stands approximately 162 cm tall (later reduced to 150 cm). Her asymmetrical wings are a deep source of insecurity, provoking intense fury if mentioned. Her standard lower-ranking angel attire includes a white camisole, skirt, polka-dot panties, steel plate leggings, a steel gauntlet on her right arm, and a long dueling glove on her left.
Her personality blends apparent cheerfulness with manipulativeness; she frequently exploits others' kindness, like freeloading at Melpha's church. Nanael holds extreme disdain for earthly beings, viewing them as inferior "monkeys," and harbors a particular hatred for women, believing they should be banished.
