Description
Chuck Glay, known as Peekaboo, was born November 4, 1990, in Arizona, USA. An English-speaking criminal wanted by UK authorities for large-scale money laundering, he operated alongside associates Kunal Robinson (Chap Tip) and Sonia Boutella (MooMoo). His criminal history includes participating in a gang that kidnapped children for pornography production before transitioning to more profitable black market operations; drug dealing was also briefly noted.
Five years before his appearance, Glay leased a building dubbed The Twin Towers. There, he coerced young hacker Ami Enan into developing the payment system for Marco Polo, a dark web black market selling drugs, weapons, and forged documents. Ami complied to escape physical abuse. Glay monitored Marco Polo remotely, accumulating over 3.5 million in digital currency ("bitmoney") in an offshore account.
Glay reacted violently when Lupin III stole his digital fortune via Ami's help. He coordinated with Chap Tip and MooMoo on retaliation, spearheading the creation of the "Lupin Game," a social media bounty system. Glay later invested his remaining resources into "Happy Death Day," a website where users bet on Lupin III's predicted death date. He believed its encrypted currency and private browsing protections rendered it legally ambiguous and risk-free.
Obsessively tracking live streams of assassins hunting Lupin III across Bwanda from an abandoned mall command center, Glay celebrated perceived setbacks. He dismissed Lupin's resilience, anticipating his death or capture, his reactions shifting between amusement, frustration, and overconfidence.
When Ami contacted him as "UNDERWORLD," Glay lured her to the mall under false pretenses. He trapped her in a flooding room, referencing movie-inspired methods to intimidate her into revealing Lupin's secrets or the "Lupin Collection" location. During this, Glay learned his real identity and photo were exposed on the Death Day site, making him a target equal to Lupin. Panicked by this and reports of his hunted associates, he accepted Ami's offer to remove his name.
Their meeting became a trap orchestrated by Lupin, who used augmented reality filters to fake his death. Cornered by Lupin and Ami while visibly terrified and armed, Glay faced Inspector Zenigata's intervention. Zenigata arrested Glay to prevent Lupin killing him. Lupin presented Glay a choice: face a decade in prison by cooperating or die resisting. Glay collapsed in distress, opting to surrender to Zenigata.
