Description
Dolma is the princess of Padar, a fictional Southeast Asian kingdom. In the third story arc of *Lupin the Third Part 5*, she becomes central when Lupin targets the Bloody Teardrop, a national treasure she wears. Dolma navigates intense political turmoil within Padar, where a revolution directly threatens her life and position. This conflict arises from tensions between her reformist father, the king, and traditionalist factions led by the High Priest. The High Priest seeks to legitimize his claim to power by forcibly marrying Dolma, using a fake Bloody Teardrop in the ceremony—an act Dolma views as deeply hypocritical given his manipulation of tradition for personal gain.

Demonstrating agency within the political struggle, Dolma strategically aligns temporarily with traditionalists to gain the influence necessary to realize her father's vision for Padar's future. She remains fiercely committed to authentic cultural symbols, expressing outrage at the High Priest's use of the counterfeit Bloody Teardrop. Her storyline explores a complex dynamic with a CIA agent operating under the alias Ugo or Mack. Dolma develops strong feelings for him, perceiving him as a genuine ally, though their relationship carries undertones of Stockholm Syndrome given his role within the external forces influencing Padar. Ugo's motivations remain ambiguous, potentially driven by a desire to counter CIA interference or genuine concern for Dolma, culminating in his sacrificial death to protect her.

Her personal journey significantly intersects with Ami Enan, Lupin's young hacker associate. The two form a strong friendship, a bond crucial when Dolma's life is endangered by the revolution and the High Priest's machinations. Ami actively reunites with Lupin specifically to orchestrate Dolma's rescue. The resolution of Dolma's arc sees her surviving the political crisis, though her ultimate fate and continued role in Padar's governance are not detailed beyond the immediate rescue. Dolma's character appears exclusively in *Lupin the Third Part 5*, with no appearances in other seasons, movies, OVAs, or spin-offs.
