Kaguya, a supernatural being from a limbo realm bridging the moon and Earth, is charged with resolving humanity’s emotional turmoil to halt the moon’s gradual drift caused by collective sorrow. Wielding reality-warping powers, she weaves through human struggles alongside her assistant Pipi, deploying unorthodox tactics like gender metamorphosis, illusioncraft, and dream-weaving. Her interventions blend playful mischief with ruthless truth-seeking, unraveling hidden deceptions while occasionally unleashing unintended chaos.

During her initial mission, Kaguya assists Tanaka, a lovelorn youth, by temporarily reshaping him into a woman to dismantle a murder plot against his unrequited crush, Ikuko. She exposes the treachery of Ikuko’s lover, Manami, through prophetic visions and perceptual shifts, ultimately orchestrating a reunion between Tanaka and Ikuko’s spirit to revive the latter.

Her second endeavor centers on Satoshi, a reclusive teen ensnared in a video game by heartbreak-fueled despair.
