Nonnoria Foly serves as a maid in the Albert household, having been orphaned young and taken in by Fernando Albert after her family perished. Following Fernando's death, she continues her duties for his son Alfred Albert, performing all household tasks diligently though her occasional overzealousness sparks troublesome situations. She maintains a cheerful, straightforward personality, often reacting emotionally under stress. Nonnoria formed a close bond with Alfred's sister Bernadette, who shared her age, and grieves deeply when Bernadette dies in a carriage accident. This loss fuels her fierce determination to work hard and protect those she cares for. Her dedication sometimes manifests as recklessness—charging into danger while exclaiming her desire to help or launching unprepared rescue missions. During one search for a missing child in Tron Cavern, she packed excessive supplies, became lost, encountered monsters, and required rescue. Beyond her primary role, Nonnoria secretly practices swordplay with Alfred and demonstrates knife proficiency. She possesses unconventional abilities: knowledge of zombie-warding legends, which she taught to Marius Casterede, and the uncanny capability to cut glass with her voice, noted to affect listeners. Her relationships include protective, frantic concern for Marius when he goes missing and an association with the creature Qoo Morimoru during errands and expeditions. Throughout the series, she joins Alfred's group on field missions—investigating monsters and traveling to the capital. During perilous encounters, she repeatedly relies on Alfred for protection, frequently calling out to him when threatened. While she takes initiative like leading searches, her narrative role remains part of the supporting cast without significant development or expanded backstory beyond her orphaned upbringing and service to the Alberts.
