Roy Bachelot is a gray-eyed knight with red hair cut to neck length, serving Duke Rugis F. Camellia. He rose from commoner origins within the kingdom's hierarchy, facing unjust persecution until Rugis intervened to save him. This act forged Roy's unwavering loyalty, making him Rugis's trusted confidant. Roy exhibits an honest and serious demeanor that sometimes manifests as inflexible rigidity. Renowned as the kingdom's master archer, Roy wields a custom-made bow effective for both close defense and long-range combat, skills qualifying him for the rank of Temple Knight. Initially positioned as an antagonist aligned with Rugis's rebellion against Hortensia, his role evolves. Though neither Roy nor Rugis are fundamentally evil, Roy eventually aids the protagonist Alfred Albert against the church forces led by Pope Vall d'Hebron, shifting from adversary to temporary ally. After aiding Alfred against Vall, Roy departs without explanation or closure, his ultimate fate remaining undisclosed.
