Description
Wolfram von Bielefeld, third and youngest son of former Maou Cecilie von Spitzweg, faced paternal neglect at birth, though his father later attempted responsible parenting by opposing toddler Wolfram receiving a sword and sharing cautionary tales like the demon flute story. His father died during Wolfram's early childhood. As a boy, Wolfram permitted only half-brother Conrad physical contact and favored rabbits over kittens due to eldest brother Gwendal's excessive feline attention. He demonstrated early artistic talent through realistic family portraits before transitioning to cubist and abstract styles in adulthood.

At his Coming of Age Ceremony at sixteen, appearing physically equivalent to a ten-year-old human, Wolfram adopted his father’s surname von Bielefeld. Military academy training exposed him to harsh conditions like mountain stranding for foraging. By his early sixties, he held an officer rank, directing wartime logistical support and commanding a special unit skilled in maryoku. Nicknamed "The Selfish Prince" or "Little Lord Brat" for his pride, he once spared a terrified human soldier in Dormael yet maintained prejudice against humans—especially Conrad's heritage—inherited from his father, addressing Conrad formally as "Lord Weller."

Wolfram wields fire-elemental maryoku and excels as a swordsman. His heart serves as a key to the forbidden box "Inferno on the Tundra," inherited from ancestor Rufus Bielefelt, comrade of kingdom founder Shinou. This legacy caused supernatural incidents: the box absorbed him during the Greatest Fighter Tournament, trapping his consciousness until Yuuri rescued him, and Shinou later possessed him to extract the heart-key, causing temporary death until its restoration.

His engagement to Yuuri Shibuya began accidentally when Yuuri’s slap to Wolfram’s left cheek—a noble marriage proposal custom—followed Wolfram insulting Yuuri’s mother. Initially hostile, Wolfram gradually embraced the engagement more seriously than Yuuri, shadowing him constantly, sharing his bed nightly, and accusing him of infidelity over interactions with others. His feelings deepened into genuine love, softening his demeanor. He reconciled with Conrad, using his first name post-betrayal, and overcame human prejudice—embracing Yuuri’s adopted human daughter Greta as his own, aiding her upbringing, accepting Yuuri’s human parents as future in-laws, and risking his life to save a human child from fire.

After Yuuri’s disappearance, the Ten Noble Families nominated Wolfram as Maou to protect Yuuri’s legacy. Upon Yuuri’s return, Wolfram’s uncle Waltorana pressured him to seize the throne. To shield Yuuri from political manipulation, Wolfram dissolved their engagement and retreated to Bielefeld territory, provoking a formal duel where he intended sacrificial death to preserve Yuuri’s kingship, bidding farewell with "Yuuri. Be a good king." Yuuri thwarted the plan by absorbing his own attack. The nobles reaffirmed Yuuri as king, and Wolfram annulled the disengagement.

Personal quirks include seasickness, low blood pressure, wildly clingy sleep habits, nightly wine consumption, and imagined wedding scenarios with Yuuri. His abstract paintings—like depicting Yuuri as a "tanuki with boobs"—contrast earlier realism. He fears ghosts and Anissina’s inventions.
