Description
Shizuku Ninomiya teaches at the high school attended by the main protagonists while also serving as a locally recognized Spirit World Warrior dedicated to eliminating supernatural threats called youmu. She grew up alongside fellow warriors Izumi Nase and Yayoi Kanbara, maintaining their friendship into adulthood.

Standing 168 cm tall, Shizuku has light brown hair typically worn loose or in a waist-length ponytail. Her brown eyes possess a distinctive gold glint. She frequently dons a greyish-beige jacket and matching skirt, paired with a striped blue shirt, black stockings, and shoes.

Her personality blends cheerfulness with fierce determination. Shizuku often smiles, even during intense youmu confrontations, but shifts to a merciless demeanor when defeating these entities. She exhibits frustration when situations deviate from her plans, particularly in her romantic life, where repeated rejections become a recurring source of comic relief. She copes through frequent beer drinking, openly expressing impatience with slow service and often seen with alcohol during downtime. As a mentor, she treats younger warriors like Mitsuki Nase and Mirai Kuriyama to dinners. Shizuku adheres to personal principles over idealism, isolating herself after romantic disappointments—such as sitting alone at a festival after being stood up.

In combat, Shizuku specializes in close-quarters engagements, leveraging exceptional hand-to-hand skills to physically overpower youmu. Her abilities include creating protective "Glaciate Barriers" and manipulating earth elements ("Geokinesis"), fissuring terrain or erecting defensive walls. She coordinates with allies like Hiroomi Nase to track and neutralize threats, though her effectiveness occasionally falters against powerful foes.

Shizuku's story involvement begins when she interrupts a confrontation between Akihito Kanbara and Mirai Kuriyama by kicking a youmu through a classroom window, later shattering it and leaving its stone residue. She reappears during the "Hollow Shadow" incident, aiding efforts to contain Akihito's berserk youmu side. In the sequel film *I'll Be Here: Mirai-Hen*, she combats supernatural shadows afflicting the town and joins the pursuit of antagonist Miroku Fujima. Post-credits scenes depict her continuing to teach while using youmu hunting as an emotional outlet. The OVA *Mini Theater* shows her seeking solace with Izumi after exclusion from a student sleepover, lamenting her romantic misfortunes.

Her given name "Shizuku" translates to "droplet," while her surname "Ninomiya" combines "two" (二) and "temple/shrine" (宮).
