Megumi works as a nurse alongside Dr. Yuusuke Fuwa, maintaining professional loyalty to him despite his compromised reputation from inappropriate conduct with female patients. Her allegiance persists even as her perspective toward him remains not entirely unbiased.

Her duties include accompanying Dr. Fuwa during medical investigations, such as traveling to a remote island where a mysterious illness afflicts young women training to become nuns. There, she fulfills her nursing responsibilities within the medical team addressing the outbreak.
