Description
Kaede Ichinose is a main character who joins the cast of Aikatsu! during its first season. She is a returnee student who transfers into Starlight Academy in the same year as the protagonist, Ichigo Hoshimiya. Before coming to Japan, Kaede lived in America, where she built a successful career as a super idol. She is the daughter of the president of a high-class American sushi chain called Kaede Sushi, and she famously appears in commercials for the family business, often using the catchphrase "Yes! Kaede Sushi". Her primary reason for enrolling at Starlight Academy is to audition for a spot in Tristar, the elite idol unit led by the top idol Mizuki Kanzaki.
