Jaiko Gouda, also known as Little G in some international versions and sometimes referred to as Hana, is the younger sister of Takeshi "Gian" Gouda. She first appeared in the initial chapter of the original Doraemon manga. Initially characterized by a snobby and mean-spirited demeanor, Jaiko often played pranks on Nobita and took pleasure in his discomfort. Over time, her personality evolved significantly into that of a kind and considerate individual, presenting a total contrast to her brother's hot-blooded and bullying nature. She demonstrates skill in domestic activities like cooking and sewing. An aspiring manga artist, Jaiko submits her work to publishing contests under the pen name Christine Goda. Her storytelling skills remain rough, resulting in frequent competition failures. When she considers abandoning her artistic pursuits, her brother's friends are often recruited or coerced into encouraging her to continue. She has experienced romantic interests, including a former crush on Motesugi and later a crush on Moteo, a seventh-grade student. Within her family, Jaiko maintains a good relationship with her brother Gian, who is protective of her despite his generally aggressive behavior. She is treated more favorably by her mother compared to Gian and is assigned fewer chores related to the family store. Her interactions with her father are limited but presumed positive. In projected future timelines, Jaiko becomes a successful famous manga artist whose works sell numerous copies.
