**Jackknife Dragon**, known as Findar the 100th and also called Jack, serves as the loyal buddy monster to Tasuku Ryuenji. A prominent member of the Buddy Police, he consciously maintains his full-sized form daily, possessing the ability to shrink but choosing this state to grant Tasuku flight. Their profound bond transcends duty, rooted in a familial connection where Jackknife views Tasuku as family.
Originating from Dragon World, Jackknife first appears as a large, bipedal dragon with green scales. His attire consists of black armor featuring grey edges and red highlights, complemented by a helmet equipped with a retractable blade. His appearance undergoes significant evolution: training with Armordeity Dynamis transforms him into **Star Guardian Jackknife**, sporting futuristic armor, a neon-blue blade, and brighter green scales. He later achieves the **Radiant Guardian Jackknife "Aster"** form, characterized by blue scales, golden armor, and glowing accents. In Triple D, he evolves into **Star Dragoner Jackknife**, blending design elements from his Dragon World origins with futuristic Star Dragon World aesthetics.
Jackknife mirrors Tasuku's strong protective instincts and battle eagerness, yet avoids arrogance. He consistently prioritizes Tasuku's safety over his own, demonstrated when he resisted transformation into the mindless weapon **Goldritter** during Tasuku's alignment with the antagonist group Disaster. This event strained their bond, leading Jackknife to temporarily join another team to facilitate Tasuku's rescue. Post-recovery, Jackknife reluctantly assumed a smaller SD form to comfort Tasuku, prioritizing their relationship over personal discomfort, and later grew more accepting of it. While typically serious, he displays occasional lightheartedness, such as laughing at an adversary's comical core gadget. In Triple D, he acts as a mentor and patient father figure to Bal Dragon, tolerating the young monster's antics.
Jackknife's storyline spans multiple conflicts. Season 1 saw him forcibly turned into Goldritter under Disaster's influence, culminating in a confrontation where he dealt the final blow to free Tasuku from corruption. During Season 2, training with Dynamis enabled his evolution into Star Guardian Jackknife, avoiding Goldritter's drawbacks. He later achieved his Radiant Guardian form using Tasuku's "Gargantua Punisher!!" card.
