Ben is a human brawler and member of Team Anubias who specializes in the Pyrus attribute. His initial partner, the Pyrus Bolcanon, was a direct gift from Anubias; he later acquires and uses Pyrus Ziperator. Despite his elemental focus, his attire resembles that of a Subterra brawler, setting him apart from most others. He possesses a strong love for combat, often displays overconfidence in his skills, and does not hesitate to cheat during matches. He is openly jealous of Dan Kuso’s acknowledged power and talent. Ben debuts alongside teammates Jack Punt and Robin, confronting the Battle Brawlers and declaring their ambition to become champions. He immediately challenges Dan Kuso, battling first with Bolcanon and then reinforcing with Darkus Horridian, but loses despite the advantage. He later joins Robin in a fight against the Mechtogan Zenthon, which also ends in defeat. During a Capture the Flag challenge, he attacks the Battle Brawlers using Horridian but is ultimately overpowered. A pivotal moment arises when Anubias unveils his true form and loyalty to the villain Mag Mel. Ben is shocked and distraught at his leader’s betrayal. He and his team flee a collapsing Interspace, reckoning with how easily they were deceived. Afterward, Ben’s path changes. He works with Jack and Robin, deploying his Ziperator to aid teammate Noah against the Chaos Bakugan. He then joins his team in protecting Dan and Drago from these threats. He further contributes in large-scale battles against the Chaos Bakugan army and the Razen Titans, fighting alongside the Battle Brawlers, Team Sellon, and other allies to secure victory. For a time, his former partner Bolcanon is used more often by Robin than by Ben himself, with Ben employing it only on a limited number of recorded occasions.
