Description
Muru Muru, alias Mur Mur, operates as assistant to the deity Deus Ex Machina within the Survival Game—a contest determining the next ruler of time and space. Introduced as a comedic presence, her trajectory shifts into covert antagonism as she manipulates events from the shadows, driven by a desire to twist the game’s outcomes for her own amusement, particularly in later narratives and the spin-off *Future Diary: Paradox*.

Her diminutive humanoid frame features dark skin, lavender hair, and vivid purple eyes, complemented by a golden trumpet and silver bracelets that suppress her true power. Post-Deus’s demise, her wardrobe adopts a light-blue vest, full pants, and a frayed black cape, while an X-shaped bandage conceals a forehead-marked "1"—a remnant of her origins in the first world.

Manifesting a childlike fixation on entertainment, she delights in chaos, executing pranks ranging from impersonations to unauthorized infiltrations. Her affinity for shoujo manga contrasts with open disdain for non-participants, especially Aru Akise, whom she deems unworthy of the game. This hostility stems from unwavering loyalty to her original timeline, clashing with her third-world variant’s acceptance of Akise’s role.

Capabilities span teleportation, time traversal, memory alteration, and projection of alternate timelines. In combat, she wields energy blasts, shadow manipulation, and explosives surpassing others’ destructive potential. Removing her bracelets unleashes a monstrous transformation, amplifying speed and strength at the cost of rapid energy depletion.

Within the first world, she ostensibly serves Deus while covertly aiding Yuno Gasai posthumously, proposing a time-travel scheme that reunites Yuno with Yukiteru Amano but inadvertently spawns a parallel timeline, dooming her native reality. In the second world, she masquerades as her counterpart, rigging events through memory tampering, timeline resets to revive the dead, and exploiting vulnerabilities like Kurusu’s paternal fears—all to secure Yuno’s victory and gamble against Deus.

Her third-world iteration diverges, allying with Akise and assisting protagonists, reflecting fluid loyalties across timelines. Though chaotic, she respects the game’s structure and harbors a paradoxical kinship with Deus, blending fleeting familial warmth with consistent betrayal.

Her downfall arrives when her unrestrained second-world self is overpowered by the restrained counterpart during the climactic battle, underscoring the fragility of unchecked power. The third-world Muru endures, engaging with figures like Minene Uryu while reckoning with the fallout of her cross-dimensional schemes.
