Description
Leina Stol began her existence as a robotic heroine within the *Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos* universe. After the series’ conclusion, she and Rom breached a dimensional barrier, shedding their mechanical forms to emerge as organic beings with fractured memories. Reborn as Reina Haruka, a Japanese schoolgirl, she navigates a human life severed from her past.

Her new existence centers on deciphering the enigmas of her altered reality. Driven by fragmented recollections, she searches for her vanished brother and scattered allies—Rod Drill, Blue Jet, Triple Jim, and Rom—now also reborn as humans. Each reunion unfolds incrementally as she adapts to her organic limitations and reconstructs her obscured history.

Her story spans a trilogy of OVAs (1988–1989), chronicling adventures in a world where ties to *Machine Robo* gradually fade. A later spin-off, *Lightning Trap: Leina and Laika*, introduces Laika Strange, broadening her alliances beyond former comrades.

Leina’s arc interrogates identity and transformation. Her shift from machine to human amplifies the tension between her past purpose and present vulnerability. Memory gaps fuel her pursuit of truth, while encounters with allies-turned-humans redefine their bonds, shaped by shared displacement across dimensions. Her narrative remains anchored in resolving existential questions and rebuilding connections fractured by their collective metamorphosis.
