Description
Haruka Nogizaka is a teenage girl attending Hakujou Academy, renowned for her beauty, intelligence, and elegance, earning her status as the school's most admired and unattainable student. She earned the French nicknames "Nuit Étoile" (The Night Star) and "Lumière du Clavier" (The Piano's Light) due to her exceptional piano skills, including international competition wins. Her appearance features long, wavy sandy-brown hair typically worn loose, brown eyes, and a mature figure for her age, often dressed in elegant, feminine clothing like one-piece dresses.

Born into the affluent Nogizaka family on October 20, she has a younger sister, Mika, who frequently teases her but supports her relationship with Yūto Ayase. Her parents are Gentō, who initially disapproved of her hobbies, and Akiho, who later aided her. Haruka's personality combines kindness, gentleness, timidity, and occasional clumsiness with hidden resilience. She holds black belts in martial arts like aikido, using them defensively, such as protecting Yūto from harassment.

Her defining secret is an intense passion for otaku culture, particularly anime and manga. This interest originated in childhood after an argument with her father, when she encountered a boy (later revealed as Yūto) in a park who gifted her the first issue of "Innocent Smile," sparking her fandom. In middle school, her secret was exposed, leading to severe ostracization and a school transfer, which ingrained a deep fear of social rejection. At Hakujou Academy, Yūto discovered her secret accidentally but promised confidentiality, forming a bond where they shared otaku activities like trips to Akihabara and Comiket.

Despite talents in piano, cooking, and multilingualism (including Russian and French), she lacks artistic ability and remains unaware of her poor drawing skills due to others' reluctance to criticize. Her relationship with Yūto evolved from friendship to romance, facing challenges like her father's disapproval and rival suitors, notably pianist Shiina Amamiya, who developed feelings for Yūto. During a class trip to Hokkaido, Yūto rejected Shiina's confession and affirmed his love for Haruka, leading them to become a secret couple.

Haruka's development included overcoming insecurities about her hobbies and social status. Her family tested Yūto's devotion through a staged marriage scenario, culminating in Haruka and Yūto confronting her parents and proving their commitment. They married, having two daughters named Miku and Asuka. Throughout her journey, she transitioned from a fearful, secretive otaku to reconciling with her past, forgiving former friends, and embracing her identity openly with Yūto's support.
