Charotte is a honey bee Jewelpet with a yellow body adorned by black stripes, pink antennae, light blue wings, and fluffy white neck fur. Her eyes gleam with purple charoite jewels, complemented by a purple crystal bow and a honeycomb-shaped charoite jewel resting on her neck fluff.

Her magic specializes in granting courage and dispelling confusion, empowering humans to conquer fears and challenges while harmonizing emotions, minds, and bodies. This core ability remains consistent across her appearances, though its execution adapts to different narratives.

During her debut, she teams with Sagan for the Jewel Star Grand Prix, facing rivals Sara and Sapphie. Later, she joins her school's Plum class delinquent group. A pivotal moment occurs when she overhears a friend dismissing their bond, turning her anti-social. She eventually bonds with the group’s leader, Shouko, who shields her from enemies. Charotte fiercely repays this loyalty by confronting threats to protect Shouko, cementing her place in the group.

Romantic arcs define later storylines: she dates classmate Katori, then pursues Midori before shifting affections to Retsu after witnessing Midori’s manipulation.
