Description
Serena Jounouchi, a 14-year-old French girl, resides in Kyoto, Japan. Her wealthy family includes her French businessman father, Steven Jounouchi, and her Kyoto-born mother, Karen Jounouchi. Serena possesses blonde hair, blue eyes, and a fair complexion. Her short blond hair is brushed to the left initially; in later years, it lengthens slightly, fans outward, and features reshaped bangs.
She forms the idol duo Serenon with her best friend Kanon Toudou. Beyond Prism Show performances, they perform manzai comedy, where Serena serves as the "boke" (comedic fool). She speaks in a strong Kansai dialect, contrasting Kanon’s calm delivery. Their routines involve rapid-fire insults and playful banter, often targeting rivals.
