TV-Series
Description
Tayura Minamoto, the adopted younger brother of Chizuru Minamoto and a fox spirit, serves as the series' tritagonist. Initially appearing as Kouta Oyamada's classmate, Tayura exhibits jealousy toward Kouta's relationship with Chizuru, leading her to comment that he suffers from a sister complex. This jealousy gradually subsides as he develops concern for Kouta, such as attempting to intervene when Chizuru prepares unconventional dishes for him.
Significantly younger than Chizuru and not biologically related, Tayura demonstrates genuine care for his sister's safety despite their frequent conflicts. This protective instinct culminates in his battle against Saku to defend her. Chizuru often forces him to handle household chores, and their interactions involve mutual teasing, particularly regarding her age, which visibly annoys her.
Tayura's personality is generally calm, cool, and outgoing. He frequently teases Chizuru and Kouta by calling them "love birds." A significant aspect of his development involves his romantic interest in Akane Asahina. Despite her consistently cold responses and repeated rejections, he remains persistent, stating that he accepts her cold demeanor. Over time, their relationship shows gradual warming.
Tayura possesses the typical traits of a fox spirit, though specific powers are not detailed. His role expands beyond comic relief through moments of loyalty, particularly in confrontations protecting Chizuru or supporting Kouta.
