Yutaka Itazu, nicknamed "Panties," lived as a reclusive NEET and hikikomori after an incident where his only pair of pants blew away while drying, trapping him in his apartment. This event caused him to abandon his university studies, despite previously being diligent, and remain confined in his small residence for roughly two years, refusing all contact.
He possessed exceptional hacking skills, once considered a prodigy and feared in certain circles. This expertise led to his involvement with the Eden program, an image-based information recognition system, where he provided technical advice.
His isolation ended after encountering Akira Takizawa. Tasked with analyzing the damaged Noblesse Phone of the deceased Seleção member Yūsei Kondō, Itazu successfully recovered the complete transaction history of all Seleção participants. His analysis revealed Takizawa orchestrated evacuations that prevented casualties during the "Careless Monday" missile attacks and arranged the relocation of 20,000 NEETs to Dubai. He later uncovered evidence implicating two other Seleção members in planning a subsequent strike involving sixty missiles.
Driven by urgency to warn Takizawa of this imminent threat, Itazu did the unthinkable: he left his apartment. However, he was struck by a vehicle driven by Seleção No. 1, Daiju Mononobe, suffering severe injuries. Despite the attack, he managed to transmit the critical Seleção database to the Eden team before hospitalization.
Following his recovery, Itazu transitioned out of his hikikomori existence. He joined the Eden team more actively, participating in their operations and collaborating to counter threats posed by other Seleção members, marking a significant shift from his isolated past.
