Description
Aoi Futaba, a teenage ex-agent codenamed "Momiji," once spearheaded covert operations for Japan’s Immigration Bureau before defying orders to assassinate Eris, a Catian alien, and her human ally Kio Kakazu. Declared a traitor, she fled to the Catian Embassy under diplomatic protection, driven by her bond with Kio—the sole figure to see her beyond her lethal skills and tragic history.
Abandoned as a child for her teleportation ability "Aport," which summons objects within 50 meters, Aoi survived on society’s fringes. Her fractured family includes a missing father, a deceased mother, a Garblian stepmother, and a half-sister trapped in subspace, aged beyond her by the Urashima effect. Armed with a Dogisian-engineered battlesuit and a modified blue Ford Shelby GT500 KR rigged with smokescreens and capture nets, she now guards the embassy while wrestling with insecurities over her feelings for Kio, fearing her violent past and self-perceived flaws—like her chest size—render her unworthy of his affection.
Guided by ally Manami Kinjō, Aoi confronts her shyness, though tensions flare as both vie for Kio’s attention. A turning point arrives when Eris invokes Catian law to propose a polyamorous union, uniting the trio with Kio. During a mission climax, Aoi embraces this resolution, joining Eris and Manami in a shared kiss with Kio—a testament to her acceptance of collective love.
Outside combat, she bonds with Kio over a passion for obscure films, a hobby masking her deeper struggle to reconcile her violent profession with a longing for ordinary life. Her journey navigates the clash between duty and desire, anchoring her search for identity in a world that once cast her out.
