Description
Nozomi Kasuga is a high school student from the modern world who is transported to a parallel version of feudal Japan known as Kyō, a land resembling Kyoto during the late Heian period. She is summoned by Hakuryū, the White Dragon God, who appears to her as a mysterious boy. Upon arrival, Nozomi is revealed to be the Hakuryū no Miko, the Priestess of the White Dragon, and is granted the power to seal vengeful spirits called onryō. These onryō have been released by the Heike clan to destabilize the land and defeat the Genji clan. Nozomi allies herself with the Genji to combat the spirits, restore Hakuryū's weakened powers, and find a way to return home.
