Description
Amon wields ancient abilities inherited from the Wind People lineage, generating luminous energy spheres known as "light play" and communicating with animals. His father, once chief military scientist for the Golden Snake Empire, destroyed his research to prevent Amon's powers from being weaponized. Imperial forces slain his parents during their escape attempt, leaving Amon orphaned and relentlessly pursued by the regime's ruler, Branik, who seeks to exploit his abilities for super-weapons.
Fleeing captivity after his parents' deaths, Amon leaped from an imperial airship. An eagle guided him to perceive wind currents, enabling his first flight. He encountered Urs, a bear who revealed Amon's Wind People heritage and shared their history. Urs gifted him an ocarina before Amon journeyed to a coastal village.
There, he befriended Maria, a member of the Sea People. When the Golden Snake Empire attacked, Maria's family perished, and the two children escaped together. This event transformed Amon from passive evasion to active resistance. Their recapture resulted in Maria's imprisonment and Amon's forced labor on weapons development.
Confinement catalyzed Amon's commitment to rebellion. He joined revolutionary forces opposing Branik's tyranny, leveraging his wind-based flight and energy manipulation in direct conflict. During this period, his powers expanded to include advanced aerokinesis and potentially dimensional perception.
Amon's physical appearance reflects his mixed heritage, with European-inspired features and occasional androgynous depictions. His spiritual connection to nature radiates visible joy during wind-riding or animal interactions, contrasting with the trauma forged by violence and loss. These experiences cemented his resolve to protect others from imperial oppression.
