Hiro Okita is a high school student and close friend of Gun Koma. He pilots a Kawasaki Z400GP motorcycle and engages in illegal street racing with Gun and their peers. Hiro develops romantic feelings for Miyuki Ichinose, daughter of a motorcycle racing team president, a key element in his character. When an old racing rival nearly assaults Miyuki, Hiro actively joins Gun in her rescue, showcasing his protective nature and loyalty. Following this event, Miyuki forms a racing team including Hiro, Gun, Hideyoshi Hijiri, and herself. Hiro partners with Miyuki as a racing duo, competing in a 4-hour endurance race at Suzuka International Racing Course. Within the team, Hiro serves as a supportive presence for Miyuki, aiding her in preparations and during the Suzuka race. His personality reflects traditional shonen archetypes, emphasizing action driven by personal convictions.
