Description
Listy, also known as the Bandit of the Wilderness, is a warrior with a dual nature: outwardly a tough, quick-tempered, and jovial bandit leader, and inwardly a compassionate woman who devotes her life to helping the weak. She was orphaned by war as a child and raised by a group of mountain bandits. After witnessing her foster father’s murder during a power struggle, she avenged him and took command of the band, transforming it into a force that robs corrupt nobles and wealthy merchants to fund food and shelter for war orphans. She insists on being called the Benevolent Bandit of the Wilderness rather than a common thief.
Her motivations are rooted in a desire to end corruption and create a kingdom where everyone can live happily. This drives her to enter the Queen’s Blade tournament with the goal of winning the throne and enacting reform. In the story, Listy first appears when she saves Leina from the assassin Melona, and later aids Leina by stealing the Vance family heirloom armor that belonged to Leina’s mother and delivering it to her. This act establishes a bond of mutual respect and rivalry between them that persists beyond the tournament.
Listy commands a loyal group of bandits who both fear and adore her because of her wild, older-sister-like demeanor.
