Description
Initially sealed within the Second Y-Circle, Burupon is a Yo-kai freed upon the gathering of all Twilight Seven Y Medals. His first form manifests as a small, semi-round blue creature with pointed ears and an expressionless face, reminiscent of a slime.
His development hinges on consuming Mystery Medals emerging from Yo-kai Watches. Each ingestion triggers a distinct physical evolution:
* One Medal grants him arms.
* Another Medal grows legs.
* Subsequent Medals increase his height and add a tail.
* Further consumption transforms him into a humanoid cat-like form, now featuring a blue vest, hoodie, blue pupils, white facial features, and paws.
* The final evolution extends the hoodie, adds drawstrings, and forms a white crescent-shaped hair tuft, achieving his designated "Perfect Body" state.
In this perfected form, Burupon presents as a humanoid blue cat Yo-kai. Light blue accents mark his hair, muzzle, chest, and extremities, and he wears a long, sleeveless blue hoodie. He explains his transformation to the YSP Club, provides a summon medal and command medals, and then departs.
Burupon possesses the ability to split into seven separate slime-like entities to escape confinement. Unlike typical Yo-kai companions, he appears without formal summoning when called. Within the game *Y School Heroes: Bustlin' School Life*, his evolution path diverges, requiring specific Yo-kai medals (Uwabami, Aizou-san, Kaminarigumo, Panda Boy, Michiren-kun, Namagomin) instead of consuming Mystery Medals.
Design similarities are noted between his initial form and the *Dragon Quest* slime, and between his perfected form and Prince Lune from *The Cat Returns*.
