Description
Nayu Kuruhoshi, originating from the planet Andromedaus, serves as chairperson of the student disciplinary committee at Y Academy. Initially appearing cold and emotionless, she acts as a tertiary antagonist for alien invader Mazera during Season 1's first half. Her early actions involve erasing student memories, manipulating individuals telekinetically, and orchestrating arrests of student clubs deemed threats.

This antagonistic phase is later revealed to involve an android impostor, created after the real Nayu refused Mazera. Remotely controlled by Elna Amami, the android impersonated Nayu while the genuine Nayu was imprisoned. The android maintained a serene public persona but displayed private sadistic tendencies, including attempting to eliminate Kumako Kumoike. Elna Amami destroyed the android in Episode 34 upon assuming Nayu's position directly.

The real Nayu's true allegiance emerges in Episode 37, revealing her nonchalant demeanor as a façade. She intended to strengthen the YSP Club against alien invaders, ultimately defecting to their side. Her strategic aid includes creating an android clone of Ranto Kirigakure to safeguard him during battles.

Following her alignment, she becomes possessed by the witch Elzemekia, who uses her as a vessel. Possessed Nayu serves as a primary antagonist in Season 1's latter half. After Elzemekia's defeat in Episode 48, Nayu is freed and reinstated as disciplinary committee chairperson.

Her abilities include telekinesis and nullifying Yo-kai Hero transformations. She possesses fair skin, light gray eyes, and short white hair in a bob cut with bangs, accessorized by a headband resembling alien antennae. She wears Y Academy's standard female uniform with a disciplinary committee armband.

In *Yo-kai Watch Jam the Movie: Yo-Kai Academy Y - Can a Cat be a Hero?*, she makes a brief cameo. Her character design draws inspiration from Andromedako in NayutalieN's "Solar System Disco," sharing thematic connections with NayutalieN's works, including an appearance in the music video for Pink Lady's "Meteor."

Her narrative concludes with her resuming leadership of the disciplinary committee, solidifying her role as the first alien ally of the YSP Club.
