Description
Enrico Pucci, born June 5, 1972, grew up in a devout Italian-American family and entered the priesthood as a teenager. A pivotal encounter with DIO healed his congenital foot deformity and granted him a Stand-bestowing arrowhead fragment, fundamentally reshaping his beliefs.
A year later, Pucci intercepted a confession revealing his presumed-dead fraternal twin, Domenico Pucci, had been switched at birth and lived as Wes Bluemarine. Unaware of their kinship, Wes pursued a romance with Pucci's younger sister, Perla. Bound by confessional secrecy, Pucci couldn't reveal their relation. He hired detectives to separate the couple, unknowingly engaging Ku Klux Klan members who lynched Wes upon discovering his partial African ancestry. Witnessing this drove Perla to suicide. This trauma awakened Pucci's Stand, Whitesnake, which he used to erase Wes's memories before seeking DIO.
Pucci became DIO's trusted confidant, learning of his plan to "achieve heaven." DIO gifted him a bone from Jonathan Joestar's body and detailed a prophecy involving gravitational forces and Stand evolution. Following DIO's death, Pucci dedicated himself to fulfilling this plan, targeting Jotaro Kujo—who had destroyed DIO's diary containing the prophecy's specifics.
Serving as chaplain of Green Dolphin Street Prison, Pucci orchestrated Jolyne Cujoh's imprisonment to lure Jotaro. Using Whitesnake, he extracted Jotaro's memory and Stand discs, inducing a coma. Whitesnake manifested tangible discs containing memories or Stands, which could be inserted into others for manipulation. It also generated a digestive mist inducing hallucinations and exerted direct mind control through touch. Pucci deployed these abilities against Jolyne and her allies while coordinating subordinate Stand users within the prison.
Pucci's plan required merging DIO's bone with 36 sinners' souls to create the Green Baby. After its formation, he fused with it at Cape Canaveral, evolving Whitesnake into C-MOON. This Stand inverted gravity within a three-kilometer radius, turning surfaces inward upon contact. Its gravitational manipulation also induced localized time distortion, partially aging targets.
During the new moon, C-MOON's power replicated lunar gravity, evolving it into Made in Heaven. This ultimate Stand exponentially accelerated time via relativistic gravity, affecting non-living matter while leaving biological perception intact. Its function propelled the universe toward heat death, triggering a cosmic reboot into a predestined reality where all beings intuitively knew their fates. Pucci believed this would eliminate fear of the unknown, creating universal happiness. During the acceleration, he gained superhuman speed and awareness of temporal alterations like time stop.
Pucci demonstrated meticulous adaptability, adjusting plans when challenged by Jolyne's resilience. He recited prime numbers to maintain composure under stress, viewing their indivisibility as symbolic of resoluteness. Though initially reserved, his demeanor grew increasingly fervent near his goal, culminating in triumphant declarations during Made in Heaven's activation.
In the accelerating universe, Pucci killed Jolyne, Jotaro, and their allies. However, the child Emporio Alniño survived using a "ghost room" created by his Stand, Burning Down the House. Trapping Pucci there, Emporio implanted the disc of Weather Report—Pucci's brother's Stand—into himself. Weather Report's oxygen-manipulation ability poisoned Pucci, enabling Emporio to kill him before the universe reset completed.
Pucci's erasure during the reboot nullified his influence in the new timeline. Reincarnations of Jolyne (Irene), Anasui (Anakiss), Ermes (Eldis), and Weather Report lived without their original tragedies, while Emporio alone retained memories of the original universe.
