Movie
Description
Nozomi Yumehara begins as an energetic yet directionless middle school student, marked by optimism, distractibility, and clumsiness, especially involving food. Her kind heart and strong sense of justice drive her to become Cure Dream, the Pretty Cure of Hope, after meeting Coco, a fairy from Palmier Kingdom seeking to restore his homeland. She pledges to gather 55 Pinkies for the Dream Collet, forming the core team by recruiting classmates Rin Natsuki (Cure Rouge), Urara Kasugano (Cure Lemonade), Komachi Akimoto (Cure Mint), and Karen Minazuki (Cure Aqua). As Cure Dream, she adopts a serious battle demeanor, wielding the power of hope and starlight, often declaring "It's decided!" Her primary attacks are Dream Attack and the upgraded Crystal Shoot. She evolves into Super Cure Dream in the first movie, gaining enhanced abilities and butterfly wings, later achieving Shining Dream and Rainbow Cure Dream forms in the sequel series and film, featuring expanded powers and angelic wings. In *Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo!*, she regains her transformation with the team to defend the Cure Rose Garden from Eternal, aided by new allies Milk (Milky Rose) and Syrup.

Her relationships shape her journey. Childhood best friend Rin Natsuki provides a grounded counterpart to her impulsiveness. She develops a supportive bond with Urara. Her romantic connection with Coco starts as a crush on his human form and deepens, sustained through letters after separation. Her initially contentious dynamic with Milk evolves into mutual respect. As an adult in *Power of Hope: PreCure Full Bloom*, she teaches at Plaisir Academy. Her dedication is shown mentoring aspiring dancer Rumi Katagiri; Rumi's unavoidable move causes Nozomi distress, prompting a vow for self-improvement. When Shadows threaten the town, Time Flowers allow her and her friends to temporarily regain their youth and Cure forms. Coco, now her neighbor and revealed as her "soulmate," worries about the Time Flowers' physical toll, urging her to stop transforming. Hospitalized after a climactic battle, she recovers to accept Coco's proposal, leading to marriage.

In *Yes! Pretty Cure 5: Kagami no Kuni no Miracle Daibouken!*, she confronts Dark Cure Dream, her mirror-world counterpart created by Shadow. After defeating the duplicate, she spares its life. Dark Cure Dream later sacrifices herself to save Cure Dream from Shadow, an act that deeply affects Nozomi and ignites her resolve to defeat Shadow, reinforcing her belief in redemption and the value of all dreams. Her adult life reflects her achieved dream of teaching, alongside her friends' varied careers, and her enduring future with Coco.
