Description
Carina Verritti is the daughter of Archduke Fabious Verritti and Fiore Verritti, the rulers of the port city of Ert'Aria, a location known as the treasury of the world. Due to her family’s high status, she is often referred to as the Jewel of Ert'Aria or its princess, and she resides with her family in a seaside mansion that reflects their noble position.

Physically, Carina stands 162 centimeters tall and is recognized for her light orange or blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a slender figure and is noted for her delicate constitution, which limits her physical stamina and made it difficult for her to travel long distances on foot, especially during her childhood. Her blood type is B.

In terms of personality, Carina is fundamentally a kind, refined, and well-mannered individual who strives to maintain the image of an elegant and talented young lady. She is polite and capable of befriending almost anyone, yet she is also prone to becoming flustered and easily embarrassed. This duality is most pronounced in her interactions with her childhood friend, Leicester Maycraft. Carina has harbored deep romantic feelings for Leicester since they were young, and these feelings often manifest as intense romantic fantasies and daydreams. Her shyness prevents her from openly confessing, leading to internal conflict. She experiences pronounced jealousy when other women, such as the automaton Minette or the knight Chelsea Arcot, interact with him, though her upbringing ensures this jealousy rarely turns into outright hostility. Her emotional vulnerability can cause her to faint in moments of high romantic stress or extreme embarrassment.

Carina serves as the master of the adventurer clan known as Oasis, which operates from the Oasis Clan House that she owns. In this role, she leads and accepts various quests for her clan members, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to her community. Her most significant relationship is with Leicester Maycraft, an item engineer in her guild, for whom she has deep affection and who has been her friend since childhood. Her family dynamics are also notable; she displays frustration and embarrassment toward her father, Fabious, due to his comedic and embarrassing antics, particularly his overt fondness for young girls, a tendency she curbs by physically reprimanding him with her staff. She holds more respect for her mother, Fiore, who carries a regal presence.

One of Carina's defining traits is her ability to use magic, which is an extremely rare skill in her world, with her possibly being one of the only magicians remaining. To compensate for her physical weakness and to enable her to travel and fight, Leicester crafted a paddle-shaped magical staff for her named Montecchia. This staff allows her to fly, serves as a focus to amplify her innate magical powers, and functions as both a mobility aid and a weapon in combat. She relies on Montecchia to navigate the city and participate in battles, classifying her as a magical user akin to a mage or wizard. Her fighting style often involves using her staff to gain an aerial advantage to cast spells, though her low stamina can leave her vulnerable.

Throughout the story, Carina experiences significant development, particularly in her relationship with Minette. Despite her initial jealousy over the girl's connection to Leicester, Carina’s inherent kindness allows her to gradually develop a maternal or sisterly bond with the automaton, showing empathy beyond her own romantic preoccupations. She actively involves herself in crises, such as during attacks on Ert'Aria, participating in the city's defense alongside her family and the rest of Clan Oasis. Her actions demonstrate her growth from a noble focused on decorum into a proactive problem-solver dedicated to the safety of her city and the protection of her friends.
