Description
Moop is a green, legless moon spirit fairy from the Land of Fountains, instantly recognizable by his large round ears, emerald eyes, and the distinctive red orb glowing at the end of his tail. A yellow ball-like marking, complete with a tiny heart, decorates his forehead. His speech always concludes with the distinctive suffix "-mupu".

Mischievous yet shy, Moop and his companion Fuup first appear timidly observing human protagonists Saki Hyuuga and Mai Mishou before choosing to reside with Saki. Their occasional wandering tendencies often lead to complications.

A significant bond ties Moop to the Kiryuu sisters, Michiru and Kaoru, who once rescued him and Fuup from a falling tree near the Fountain of Sky, forging an enduring connection. Moop and Fuup formally enter the narrative when Saki and Mai successfully restore this very fountain.

Functionally, Moop acts as a conduit for lunar power. He channels his celestial energy through the fairy Flappy, enabling Saki Hyuuga's upgraded transformation into Cure Bright. As Cure Bright, Saki wields Moop's lunar energy in combat, projecting potent green beams. This connection imbues Cure Bright with powers intrinsically linked to moonlight and celestial forces. Together, Moop and Fuup provide the essential Spiral Ring Set, facilitating the transformation sequences into Cure Bright and Cure Windy.

Beyond the main series, Moop appears across multiple *Pretty Cure All Stars* crossover films: *DX: Minna Tomodachi☆Kiseki no Zenin Daishuugou!*, *DX2: Kibou no Hikari☆Rainbow Jewel wo Mamore!*, and *DX3: Mirai ni Todoke! Sekai wo Tsunagu☆Nijiiro no Hana*. He is also a playable character in the puzzle game *Puyo Puyo!! Quest*, categorized under the "Futari wa PreCure Splash☆Star" keyword with specific in-game stats and mechanics.
