Moop is a small fairy who originally appears in the television series Futari wa Precure Splash Star and later joins the crossover film Pretty Cure All Stars DX: Minna Tomodachi—Kiseki no Zenin Daishūgō. He has a green, legless body, large round ears, emerald eyes, and a red orb at the tip of his tail. On his forehead is a yellow round emblem with a small heart inside. Moop is a mysterious spirit associated with the moon, and his name is derived from the word moon. He typically ends his sentences with the syllable mupu.

In the film, Moop is one of several fairies who become separated from their respective Pretty Cure teams when the villain Fusion attacks. Along with his companion Foop, he ends up with the Futari wa Precure Max Heart team and later with the Futari wa Precure Splash Star team. Together with the other fairies, Moop helps deliver the Rainbow Miracle Lights to the Cures, providing the power needed to defeat Fusion. His role in the story is primarily that of a supportive mascot, aiding in the reunion of all the Pretty Cure teams.

Moop’s personality is timid and cautious; he is initially shy around the human girls and tends to observe from a distance before becoming comfortable. He shares a close bond with Foop, and the two fairies are often seen together. In his original series, Moop has a connection to the character Michiru, and he was once rescued by Kaoru from a fallen tree. Within the crossover film, Moop does not undergo significant development, but he contributes to the collective effort of the fairies who rally to help the Cures. He does not possess any overt combat abilities, but as a fairy, he has a role in channeling the light that empowers the heroes.
