Description
Mepple hails from the Garden of Light as the chosen protector of Mipple, the Princess of Hope. This role fosters a deeply affectionate "lovey-dovey" romance between them, expressed through hugs and cuddles upon reuniting. Limited by Earth's energy, Mepple usually conserves power in a cell phone-like form, called a Card Commune (season 1) or Heartful Commune (*Max Heart*). His true fairy form features lemon-yellow fur, navy-blue eyes with light blue highlights, bearlike ears, and a star-tipped tail, marked by a distinctive male gender symbol with a heart motif on his head.
Arrogant from his warrior status, Mepple expects deference, fueling frequent clashes with his caretaker, Nagisa Misumi, whom he criticizes or taunts. Despite this friction, an unspoken closeness exists; Mepple intuitively senses Nagisa's feelings and dreads permanent separation. He exhibits possessiveness over Mipple, growing jealous of her interactions with Pollun, the Prince of Light.
