Movie
Description
Mipple is a fairy-like being from the Garden of Light, a dimension separate from Earth. She is a young noble and is known as the Princess of Hope. She arrived on Earth long before the events of the series, fleeing from the forces of the Dotsuku Zone alongside her boyfriend Mepple. Due to the vastly different flow of time between the two worlds, her journey took a hundred years on Earth, during which she fell asleep in the form of a small, cell-phone-like communicator. She passed through many hands before eventually coming to rest in the storage shed of Honoka Yukishiro's family home. When Mepple finally arrived on Earth, her long sleep ended and she awoke to fulfill her role as Honoka's partner.
Mipple's personality contrasts sharply with Mepple's. Where Mepple is often selfish and quarrelsome, Mipple is calm, gentle, and level-headed. She gets along well with Honoka, much like her partner's sensible nature, and she even patiently watches over the younger fairy Porun when he throws tantrums. Despite her gentle demeanor, she can be surprisingly stern when angered and tends to hold grudges, showing a deeper emotional complexity beneath her composed surface. Her speech is marked by the verbal tic of ending sentences with mipo.
Her core motivation is to protect the Prism Stones, the powerful artifacts she and Mepple safeguard, and to support the Precure warriors in their fight against evil. Mipple deeply cares for Honoka, Nagisa, and the other fairies, and she is driven by a sense of duty and love for those she protects.
In the story of the crossover movie Precure All Stars DX: Minna Tomodachi—Kiseki no Zenin Daishūgō, Mipple appears among the assembled fairies and Precure teams from multiple generations. When the monstrous creature Fusion, formed from the remnants of defeated villains, threatens the world, Mipple joins the other allies in supporting the Cures. She helps to facilitate the transformation sequences and provides moral support as the various Precure teams unite. Alongside Mepple, she helps grant Nagisa Misumi and Honoka Yukishiro the power to transform into Cure Black and Cure White, respectively.
Her key relationships are central to her character. Her romantic bond with Mepple is a defining trait, as they are a loving, devoted couple who are often seen together. She also shares a close partnership with Honoka Yukishiro, whom she trusts and relies upon. She interacts with other fairies who have gathered from different Precure series, working together with them to empower the heroes.
While Mipple does not undergo significant personal development specifically within this movie, as her role is that of a supporting ally, her presence reinforces the unity of the Precure multiverse. Her notable abilities include taking a compact form that houses the Prism Stones, communicating with her human partner, and channeling the energy needed for transformation. She can also be cared for through special care cards provided by Honoka. In the film, the combined efforts of all the fairies lead to the use of the Rainbow Miracle Lights, which amplify the Cures' power, and Mipple contributes to this collective strength.
