Prince Porun (or Pollun) rules the Garden of Light. This small white fairy possesses mint-green highlights, a furry neck, heart-shaped ear accents, a distinctive golden crown, and a tail ending in an orb resembling a computer mouse. He frequently ends sentences with "~popo".

He arrived on Earth after the Prism Stones' restoration, crashing into Nagisa Misumi in "Futari wa Pretty Cure," and stayed with her. Initially selfish, immature, and prone to playful antics, he caused friction with Nagisa and jealousy in Mepple over Mipple's attention. Wisdom later granted him the Prism Stones' power, securing his fairy form permanently and gifting him glimpses of the future—though others needed to interpret his cryptic pronouncements. During the final battle against the Evil King, he sacrificed his energy to recharge the Pretty Cure's Rainbow Bracelets, falling into a deep sleep.

Awakening in "Max Heart," Porun met Hikari Kujou and formed an instant bond, moving into her care. While retaining his energy, he began showing increased concern for others, particularly Hikari, worrying her politeness and lack of reprimands meant a lack of genuine care. He serves as Hikari's transformation device, becoming the Touch Commune to enable her metamorphosis into Shiny Luminous. He also facilitated upgrades for Nagisa and Honoka, granting them the Sparkle Bracelets for their enhanced "Marble Screw Max Spark" attack.

Porun shares a sibling-like dynamic with Lulun, the Princess of Light, who sees him as an older brother despite his occasional annoyance. His bond with Nagisa evolved from mutual frustration to solid friendship, while his time with Hikari involved mutual respect and supporting her destiny. Beyond transformation, he acts as a communication conduit, becoming the Pretty Commune (or Touch Commune) to enable dialogue between the Garden of Light and Earth.
