Kyouko belongs to a resistance group of young individuals actively fighting the artificial life-form Noiseman's tyrannical control over Cahmpon City. This group specifically targets Noiseman's ability to erase music by converting sound waves into crystals. As a member, Kyouko participates in efforts to disrupt these operations and restore music to Cahmpon.

She shares a background as the childhood friend of protagonist Tobio. After Tobio regains his memories upon escaping Noiseman's brainwashing influence, Kyouko allies with him to confront the entity. Together with Tobio and other underground operatives, she works to liberate captured "ghosts"—the separated consciousnesses of citizens affected by Noiseman's experiments.

Kyouko focuses her actions on breaking Noiseman's hold over the population and returning the ghosts to their original crystalline forms. She collaborates with the underground group to undermine Noiseman's authority and reverse the suppression of music within the city.
