Description
Ru Shako is a super-soldier engineered by military experiments specifically to pilot Armored Troopers, primarily the Wotom model. He operated extensively across Central Asia, including Bangladesh and Cambodia. Physically imposing, he stands tall and muscular with dark skin, light gray hair, a wide chin, and a large nose, typically clad in a local black military uniform.

His personality reflects emotional detachment, a consequence of the super-soldier procedures, sharing similarities with Chirico Cuvie. Ru Shako possesses exceptional survival skills honed through prolonged wilderness experience, particularly in jungles where he engaged in combat with local fauna. He exhibits sharp tactical intelligence, anticipating and countering enemy movements, and remarkable adaptability, demonstrated by his skill in customizing heavy mecha for challenging terrains like swamps and elevated regions.

Originating from the abandoned Wotom project, Ru Shako survived independently in the wild, continuing to enhance his Armored Trooper. After the major event known as the Big Concept Change, he reached China and joined the Alliance, facilitating his encounter with Chirico. As a Quentian mercenary, he served with the Kunmen Foreign Legion on the planet Melkia, piloting specialized units like the ATH-Q64 Berserga WP. This unit was modified by him for underwater and swamp combat, featuring waterproofing and shortened assault rifles for confined spaces.

Ru Shako's role deepened in the Quent story arc and the Phantom Arc OVA. He constructed a custom Armored Trooper, the ATM-09-HC Berserga Imitate, modifying a Scopedog chassis to resemble the Quentian ATH-Q58 Berserga DT. Equipped with a shield/pile banker and assault rifle, he deployed this unit to aid Chirico against adversaries such as the Balarant Perfect Soldier Radaa Niva. He later appeared in the 2010 OVA Phantom Arc, participating in events tied to a 3,000-year-old prophecy alongside former Assemble EX-10 squadmates.

Throughout his military service, Ru Shako remained consistently affiliated with mercenary groups, especially under the Kunmen banner. He is intrinsically linked to his Quentian heritage as one of the last surviving Quentimen. His narrative spans multiple conflicts across official media, including TV series arcs and OVAs, emphasizing his expertise in guerrilla warfare and mecha customization.
