Description
Kyōya Sasajima, later called Wrath, began life as a Japanese high schooler driven by an unwavering sense of justice. Despite his short stature, he frequently challenged bullies, earning the moniker “little ogre” in junior high. Though he mellowed slightly in high school, forging friendships with classmates Shunsuke and Kanata over shared gaming hobbies, his self-righteous streak lingered. A catastrophic explosion abruptly ended his life—and those of his entire class—propelling his reincarnation into a fantasy world as Razu-Razu, a goblin of the Mystic Mountains.

Adapting to the goblin village’s hunter-gatherer existence, Razu-Razu grew fiercely devoted to his adoptive family. His innate Weapon Creation skill revolutionized the community, crafting advanced tools that bolstered their survival. This innovation, however, drew destructive human attention. The slaver Buirimus razed the village, capturing Razu-Razu. Enslaved for years, he endured psychological torment and forced labor, culminating in the harrowing compulsion to kill his own sister. The act branded him with titles like Ally-Killer and Kin Eater, while escalating his Taboo and Anger skills.

Betrayed by his brother Raza-Raza, who colluded with Buirimus, Razu-Razu’s pent-up rage surged. His Rage skill ascended to its zenith, mutating into the Ruler Skill Wrath. This awakening shattered his bonds, transforming him first into an Ogre, then an Oni—a horned, silver-haired entity with crimson eyes and fanged teeth. Wrath maximized his physical prowess but obliterated his rationality, reducing him to the “Sword Demon,” a berserker wielding explosive magic blades.

Months of rampage ended when Shiraori and her allies subdued him, sealing Wrath’s influence. Regaining lucidity, though scarred by residual trauma, he enlisted in demonkind’s military under Ariel. Rising to 8th Demon Army Commander, he adopted a strategic, composed demeanor, balancing empathy with cold pragmatism. His once-idealistic view of justice hardened into a survivalist philosophy accepting necessary sacrifices.

Encounters with former classmates underscored his evolution. Tensions with Sophia, rooted in her past-life ties to those he failed to protect, thawed into a guarded partnership. Reunions with Shun highlighted their clashing ideologies—Wrath’s harsh realism versus Shun’s sheltered optimism. Yet he remained steadfastly loyal to Shiraori and Ariel, endorsing their desperate bid to salvage a dying world, even through bloody means.

Wrath’s odyssey traces a metamorphosis from tormented victim to calculating leader, navigating morality’s murky depths. His narrative weaves resilience with identity fragmentation, vengeance with cyclical violence, and the eternal struggle to harmonize lingering humanity with the monstrous mantle he bears.
