Luva is the Guardian of Earth within the series cosmology, one of nine Guardians supporting the Queen in maintaining universal balance through elemental forces. He aids the Queen Candidate, Angelique Limoges, during her examination to become the next Queen, harnessing his connection to the earth element to help populate and develop her assigned continent.

He possesses a consistently sincere and warm personality, evident throughout his appearances in the core games "Angelique," "Angelique Special 2," "Angelique Trois," and "Angelique Etoile." His age is noted as 26 during the events of the original game.

In the OVA "Angelique: Shiroi Tsubasa no Memoire," Luva joins the search for Angelique and Marcel after they flee with the memory-wiped Arios. Responding to Queen Limoges' directive, he and fellow Guardians intervene when the pair faces danger from a malevolent force controlling Arios. Luva arrives in the New Cosmos to protect Angelique and Marcel, delivers the Queen's message of support, and helps confront the corrupted Arios.
