Description
Seiuchin is a walrus-themed chojin, possessing tusks, black beady eyes, and a significantly overweight build. He typically wears thigh-length black boots and a long white ribbon around his forehead. His appearance resembles a walrus suit, with instances revealing pale skin beneath the fur.
Born in Ireland, his family includes his mother Suzie, younger sister Dorothy, and father Robert, who died in a fishing accident during Seiuchin's childhood. Suzie taught him to swim when he was young. His family frequently supports him during matches, and he maintains a close bond with them throughout the series.
Initially gentle, kind-hearted, and easy-going, he prioritizes his friends' needs, often performing domestic chores and supporting them during outings. He shares a brotherly relationship with Mantaro Kinniku, whom he admires greatly and addresses as "Aniki." Both characters exhibit constant hunger and frequent eating, with Seiuchin often seen carrying a large fish.
Graduating from the Hercules Factory, he ranked Number 2 among first-year graduates. His combat abilities include considerable strength and technique, demonstrated when he initially dominated MAXman using brutal moves and easily broke holds. However, his kind nature becomes a weakness; naively allowing MAXman to catch his breath led to his defeat. Despite losing, he endured additional punishment so Mantaro could study MAXman's techniques.
Assigned to defend Hokkaido, an environment suited to his walrus physiology, he fought Clioneman during the Hercules Factory First Year Replacement Matches. Despite encouragement from his family and fans, he lost after being absorbed into Clioneman's watery body and impaled by sharp ribs.
His character transformed significantly during the Ultimate Chojin Tag Tournament arc. After enduring repeated derogatory remarks from Mantaro about his abilities and worth, he left the Justice Chojin side. Neptuneman recruited him into the Hell Expansions, subjecting him to intense training involving being tied in a cave with bats eating at his body for days. This awakened his ferocious animal instincts, turning him into a bloodthirsty beast with limited cognitive function. Neptuneman controlled him with a lead and helmet to prevent indiscriminate attacks.
In this antagonistic role, he participated in brutal matches, including a battle royale where he and Neptuneman ripped off opponents' faces. During a tag match against Jade and Scarface, he began reverting to his original personality when Scarface sacrificed himself to protect Jade from a face-ripping attack. Neptuneman, viewing this as weakness, allied with Mammothman. They ripped off Seiuchin's face, hospitalizing him. After recovery, he rejoined the Justice Chojin, apologized for his actions, and returned to his supportive role.
Later, during the Chojin Olympics, he represented Ireland and defeated Sharkman to become its champion. He advanced through preliminary rounds but was disqualified when daruma dolls collapsed on him. Medics carried him away, and he asked Mantaro to win on his behalf. In an anime-original arc involving the "Poison Six Pack," he participated in rescue matches alongside other Justice Chojin to save kidnapped civilians.
His abilities stem from standard chojin physiology, granting superhuman strength, speed, and durability. He can grow to building size and fly through space without assistance. His combat style leverages his physical power, though his gentle disposition often hindered his effectiveness until his temporary bestial transformation.
