Description
Ikemen Muscle is the son of Harabote Muscle and the brother of Jacqueline Muscle, hailing from Planet Harabote. He inherits the position of chairman of the Chojin Olympics from his father, despite having no blood ties to the Kinniku family. As chairman, he becomes a key supporting character, overseeing tournament operations, announcing matches, and developing preliminary tests for competitions. His name, which implies a handsome or good-looking man, stands in ironic contrast to his actual appearance, as his face is frequently mocked by others for its striking and unattractive features.

In terms of personality, Ikemen presents a complex blend of traits. He claims to pride himself on fairness, yet readily contradicts this by stating that one cannot stop evil with fair play anymore, demonstrating a pragmatic and sometimes ruthless approach. He is a shrewd businessman who successfully brought the bankrupt Universal Chojin Committee back to financial glory through inventive, if sometimes unethical, money-making schemes such as rigged gambling. While he condemns cowardice, he himself exhibits cowardly tendencies, fainting at the sight of extreme violence or clinging to his sister in fear of supernatural elements. He expresses a certain sadism similar to his sister Jacqueline, believing that violence must be met with violence, but he lacks her bloodlust and is visibly repelled and disgusted by overt gore. Overall, he is calmer than his father and sister, though he remains very expressive and prone to emotional reactions, including nervous mistakes like Freudian slips when under stress. He is frequently used as comic relief, often trying and failing to steal attention from his sister with cool poses, only to embarrass himself.

Ikemen's initial role in the story is that of an antagonist to the protagonist, Mantaro Kinniku, mirroring his father's historic rivalry with Mantaro's father. He actively works to undermine Mantaro's successes, covertly seeking opponents who can defeat him, such as recruiting The Ruralman, and attempting to disqualify Kevin Mask for profit rather than for rule violations. His motivations are deeply tied to his own insecurities and his obsession with profit. He is very fond of money and constantly seeks to make a profit from his position. A significant source of his insecurity is his younger sister, Jacqueline. As a child, he was teased and bullied for not resembling his beautiful sister, and she would torment him, stealing his cherished possessions. He still bears a grudge over this and fears that she will usurp his position as chairman, a fear that is not entirely unfounded as others note she might be a better successor.

Despite his initial hostility, Ikemen's relationship with Mantaro undergoes a significant development. A pivotal shift occurs when the two bond over their shared attraction to a flamenco dancer, sparking a genuine friendship. Following this, he evolves from an antagonist into a loyal ally. In later arcs, such as the Demon Seed arc, he actively supports Mantaro, assisting in rescue missions to save Meat, providing match commentary, and even tackling Mantaro to prevent him from acting recklessly and getting himself injured. He joins Mantaro in working towards justice, participating in interdimensional missions by the series's conclusion. His relationship with Jacqueline also evolves; though he resents her and fears her power, he also respects her, and she addresses him with the honorific sama, denoting trust. They collaborate on decisions, such as creating the Punishment X Ring, though he still hides in a secret room to avoid her when possible.

Ikemen's development shows growth from a profit-driven schemer to a more sincere and responsible individual. After early failures, such as a scheme involving horse racing that led to Kevin Mask being kidnapped, he reflects on his actions and becomes more dedicated to helping others. He offers wise counsel to Rinko about her mother, showing sensitivity, and kneels to beg for help to save Marie, demonstrating a maturity that impresses readers. His comedic traits persist but are balanced by moments of competence and genuine support for his friends.

Notable abilities are not focused on wrestling, as he is one of the few male chojin with no wrestling experience. His superhuman strength is rated at 40,000 Power, which is lower than his sister Jacqueline's. His strengths lie instead in his business acumen and organizational skills. He has a talent for arithmetic and copyright revenue, which allowed him to restore the committee's wealth. He also has surprisingly feminine hobbies, being an expert on dolls and figures, which sometimes allows him to act as a commentator on related subjects. He also loves enka music and is said to sing it well. Physically, he stands 190 cm tall and has a muscular build, covering his short or bald hair with a blond curly wig. He wears a green-sheened head fin native to his home planet, golden chest armor, a skirt-like garment, a cape, forearm protectors, and knee-high boots.
