Description
Minosse del Grifone is one of the three Judges of Hell, a title shared with Wyvern Radamanthys and Garuda Aiacos, within the army of Hades. His Surplice is that of a griffin, a mythical creature that symbolizes nobility, and he is known as the Celestial Star of Nobility. Born in Norway on March 25, he stands 184 centimeters tall and weighs 72 kilograms. Minosse is the most calm and composed among the three Judges, displaying a rational and calculated approach to battle. He prefers to analyze situations carefully before acting and is known for his strategic thinking rather than reckless aggression. Despite this composed exterior, he reveals a sadistic and cruel side once he has his opponent under his control, taking pleasure in torturing them. His primary motivation is unwavering loyalty to Hades, and he carries out his duties as a Judge with a sense of duty and pride, although his devotion ultimately leads to his downfall.

In the story, Minosse first appears alongside Aiacos and Radamanthys in Giudecca at the command of Pandora. He later intervenes in the battle between Radamanthys and Kanon of Gemini, using his signature technique to restrain Kanon and begin torturing him, but is interrupted by the arrival of Ikki of Phoenix. After the defeat of Aiacos, Minosse investigates the powerful cosmos emanating from Hades's throne room, where he confronts Seiya of Pegasus, Shun of Andromeda, Shiryu of Dragon, and Hyoga of Cygnus. When the twelve Gold Saints sacrifice themselves to destroy the Wailing Wall, the resulting explosion sends Minosse flying, but he survives and recovers quickly. As Seiya and Shun are drawn toward the hyperdimension leading to Elysion, Hyoga remains behind to face Minosse. During their fight, Minosse uses his Cosmic Marionation to control Hyoga, but Hyoga manages to freeze the strings and strikes Minosse with the Aurora Execution. Though the attack seems to defeat him, Minosse holds onto Hyoga with one of his strings and follows him into the hyperdimension. However, only gods can safely traverse this space, and without divine protection, Minosse's body is destroyed, turning to dust.

Key relationships include his fellow Judges Radamanthys and Aiacos, with whom he shares a rivalry despite their equal status. He displays a mocking attitude toward Radamanthys, showing little respect for his fellow Judge's struggles in battle. His relationship with the Bronze Saints is adversarial, and he holds deep contempt for the warriors of Athena.

Minosse's most notable ability is Cosmic Marionation, a technique that unleashes invisible strings of cosmo energy to ensnare opponents, turning them into living puppets that he can control completely. This ability allows him to manipulate their movements, break their bones, and even deflect or control their attacks. He can use it both as a direct attack and as a means of torture, demonstrating his sadistic nature. His physical strength is also formidable, as he is able to shatter a variant of Hyoga's Ice Coffin with a single punch, a barrier said to be unbreakable even by Gold Saints. He possesses great endurance, surviving the direct impact of the Wailing Wall's explosion and the Aurora Execution at close range with only moderate injuries. In the Lost Canvas prequel, he is also shown to use Gigantic Feathers Flap, where he creates a powerful hurricane by beating his wings. Minosse does not rely on his fists to fight, instead using his psychic abilities granted by his Surplice to battle without physical strikes. Throughout the story, he remains a loyal and formidable servant of Hades, whose calculated nature and overwhelming power make him a serious threat to the Bronze Saints, but his inability to accept that only gods can traverse the hyperdimension leads to his ultimate demise.
