There, he mentors Cygnus Hyoga and Kraken Isaac, teaching them the emotional control and stoicism vital for mastering ice techniques rooted in atomic manipulation. His combat prowess revolves around freezing attacks: Diamond Dust, Koltso, Freezing Coffin, and his ultimate Aurora Execution, capable of nearing absolute zero. Within the Aquarius Temple during the Sanctuary arc, Camus faces his former pupil, Hyoga. Initially perceived as hostile due to his loyalty to Sanctuary and the Pope, Camus's actions hold a deeper purpose. He sacrifices himself to push Hyoga toward awakening the Seventh Sense and mastering absolute zero, ensuring his pupil's growth as Athena's protector. This death becomes pivotal for Hyoga. Later, Camus is resurrected alongside Gemini Saga and Capricorn Shura as Specters under Hades' command. Granted Surplices and twelve hours of life to assassinate Athena, they infiltrate Sanctuary. Encountering Aries Mu at the first temple, Mu senses profound anguish and hidden tears of blood, revealing their intentions are not truly aligned with Hades. The trio navigates temples and obstacles, including Virgo Shaka's intervention in the Cancer Temple. Their path leads to a strategic confrontation with Shaka in the Virgo Temple. To overcome his immense power and Buddhist techniques, Camus, Saga, and Shura jointly unleash the forbidden Athena Exclamation—a taboo move requiring three Gold Saints and possessing devastating force. This seemingly traitorous act serves their concealed objective: reaching Athena's side to deliver critical aid before their time expires, contributing to the conflict against Hades' invasion. Following their defeat within the temples, Camus's spirit joins the collective sacrifice of the twelve Gold Saints. They channel their combined cosmos into an arrow that pierces the Underworld's Wailing Wall, enabling the Bronze Saints' advance toward Athena in the final conflict against Hades.
