Description
Kaoruko Sajima partners with Aimi Yoshizumi in an aspiring comedy duo striving for stardom, performing the boke and tsukkomi routine where Kaoruko acts as the serious straight-man (blue oni) opposite Aimi's impulsive funny-woman (red oni). Her shotacon fetish contributed to her departure from her hometown, alongside parental disapproval of their career ambitions. Physically, she has blue hair and a tall, voluptuous figure that fuels comedic gag boobs tropes and frequent skinship gropes by her partner. To support their dreams, both work part-time jobs; Kaoruko shares shifts with Otone Hokke, eldest of the five Hokke sisters, establishing a minor series connection.
Simultaneously, she operates as one half of the superheroine duo "Love Pheromones" with Aimi, donning powered armor for long-range missile barrages against perceived threats under the motto "Anything can be done in the name of justice!" Their interventions cause massive collateral damage and property destruction, leading the public to mistake them for villains. Their transformation sequences and base deployments involve absurd mechanics, like accessing a slide via toilet flusher.
Kaoruko displays a Knight Templar mentality, reacting with disproportionate force to minor slights, yet remains the duo's comparatively level-headed member. Her straight-man dynamic persists consistently across comedic and superhero contexts. During the narrative climax, she inadvertently triggers a global crisis when Love Pheromones' self-destruct mechanism annihilates an alien ant invasion fleet, resulting in wreckage crashing into major cities worldwide and cementing their infamous reputation.
