Description
Weather Report, born Domenico Pucci on June 5, 1972, was the fraternal twin brother of Enrico Pucci. Shortly after birth, a grieving woman stole him from the hospital nursery and raised him as Wes Bluemarine. As a teenage juice delivery boy, he stopped a thief from stealing Perla Pucci's purse, sparking a romantic relationship. Unaware Perla was his biological sister and Enrico his twin, Wes became the target of Enrico's misguided attempts to end the relationship. Enrico unknowingly hired Ku Klux Klan members disguised as detectives, resulting in a violent attack: Wes was lynched and left for dead, his adoptive mother burned alive, and Perla—believing Wes dead—jumped off a cliff. Wes survived, discovered Perla's death, and attempted suicide multiple times. His newly awakened Stand, Weather Report, instinctively manipulated natural elements to save him each time. Consumed by rage, he transformed the townspeople into snails and sought revenge against the KKK leader. Enrico confronted him, revealed their kinship, and used his Stand, Whitesnake, to extract Wes's memory DISC, leaving him amnesiac.
Years later, using the alias "Weather Report," he served a six-year sentence for attempted murder in Green Dolphin Street Prison. His amnesia resulted in a detached, eccentric personality marked by stoicism and a disregard for personal boundaries, often standing inches from others to communicate. He displayed compassion and a strong sense of justice, frequently aiding fellow inmates regardless of personal risk. He allied with Jolyne Cujoh, Emporio Alniño, and Narciso Anasui, helping them recover Jotaro Kujo's stolen Stand DISC and battle Enrico Pucci's allies. During a fight with Lang Rangler, whose Stand induced antigravity and decompression, Weather Report created protective cloud suits to stabilize blood pressure and oxygen, sacrificing his own suit to ensure Jolyne's victory. He later summoned a rain of poisonous frogs to eliminate a Whitesnake-controlled guard, enabling Jolyne to deliver the Stand DISC. After Enrico Pucci merged with the Green Baby, Weather Report inexplicably developed a star-shaped birthmark on his left shoulder, mirroring Pucci's.
Recovering his memory DISC drastically altered Weather Report's personality. Haunted by trauma and rage, he became volatile, flaunting his Stand's power indiscriminately and expressing nihilism. He reactivated "Heavy Weather," a latent Stand ability manipulating atmospheric refraction to create subliminal rainbows. Anyone seeing these rainbows or touching affected snails underwent irreversible metamorphosis into snails, spreading exponentially through contact. This nearly caused citywide catastrophe until Enrico Pucci, having blinded himself with Whitesnake to avoid the subliminal effect, intervened. Weather Report confronted Pucci, declaring his intent to kill him and then himself to end his suffering. In battle, he critically injured Pucci by freezing his own blood into icicles and impaling him. Pucci ultimately killed Weather Report by suffocating him with a liquefied road surface. In his final moments, Weather Report transferred his Stand to Emporio, enabling Pucci's eventual defeat. He died with a smile, his vengeance fulfilled.
His Stand, Weather Report, allowed precise manipulation of atmospheric conditions within a 30-kilometer radius. This included generating wind currents for propulsion, creating electrical storms, controlling humidity to form protective cloud suits, and summoning localized phenomena like poisonous frog rain. The Stand instinctively protected him, preventing his suicide attempts. Its "Heavy Weather" mode operated autonomously, fueled by subconscious anger, and could theoretically damage the ozone layer. A lesser-known function allowed oxygen concentration manipulation in enclosed spaces, later used by Emporio to incapacitate Pucci. The Stand's sole weakness was its reliance on visual perception; blindness rendered targets immune to the snail metamorphosis.
