Movie
Description
The Genie is a large, blue-skinned entity with pointed ears, a ponytail, prominent lips, visible fangs, and gold hoop earrings in both ears, typically clad in a vest and bagly pants. Exhibiting limited intelligence, it fixates solely on consuming humans, immediately attempting to devour Bisna and Princess Kasmat upon its release.
Sealed within a teapot by Bisna's ancestor as a weapon to conquer the Nanaba Kingdom, the Genie was freed prematurely when Tsukutsun Tsun disarmed Bisna with a thrown rock, opening the teapot. After emerging, it flicked Tsukutsun away and lunged for Bisna, who redirected it toward Princess Kasmat. When Bisna fled via helicopter, the Genie destroyed the aircraft with an energy beam fired from its mouth. It then targeted Tsukutsun, Akane, and the Princess, overpowering Arale and the Gatchans before Tsukutsun, in an enraged state, defeated it with a barrage of attacks and hurled it into the distance.
In the film *Dr. Slump Arale-chan: Hoyoyo! The Treasure of Nanaba Castle*—an alternate 1929 adaptation of the Nanaba Castle storyline—the Genie appears during the climax and is defeated by Arale. No additional background, development, or appearances in other official media like spin-offs or OVAs are documented in available sources.
The Genie possesses extraordinary physical strength, effortlessly defeating Arale and the Gatchans. Its primary offensive ability is a high-powered mouth-fired energy beam termed "Beam Cannon." A trivia note observes the Genie's visual resemblance to Pintar from *Dragon Ball* and a slight similarity to Majin Buu.
